"Explore MHC" Program Expands

Each spring, groups of high school sophomores and juniors visit Mount Holyoke during the admission office's "Explore Mount Holyoke" program. This year the on-campus recruitment program is expanding to include nine Mondays and Fridays during March and April. On each of the dates below, prospective students and their families have been invited to visit campus for an information session with the admission office staff, a tour of campus with a current MHC student, and lunch with students and faculty in a residence hall. The admission staff asks that the entire College community join them in welcoming these important visitors to campus on March 24, 28, and 31 and April 4, 7, 11, 18, 21, and 25.

Swim Lessons for Children

Lessons begin Monday, March 31 and end Thursday, April 24. Sign up by Thursday, March 27. Information and sign-up sheets are available at Kendall Hall. For more information, call Cathy Buchanan x2314.

MHC's Glascock Contest Winner

The English Department extends congratulations to Tamar Stratyevskaya '99, Mount Holyoke's representative at the 1997 Glascock Contest.

Make Reservations Now for Easter Brunch

The Willits-Hallowell Center is taking reservations (x2217) for Easter brunch. The March 30 event will have seatings at 11 am and 1:30 pm, at a cost of $10.95 per person. The menu features entrees from scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage to honey-glazed ham, baked stuffed filet of sole, London broil with hunter's sauce, chicken with broccoli and mushroom mousse, pastries, desserts, and beverages.

Senior Health Review Offered

Seniors: Are you so busy filling out applications, arranging interviews, finishing your work, and wondering just what you are going to do with the rest of your life that you haven't had time to deal with your health needs? Relax; the nursing staff at Health Services can help make your transition to health care in the outside world a smooth one.

Health Services is now offering a senior health review, an opportunity to review your chart and schedule a gynecological or physical exam, if necessary.

This service covers many health needs, such as providing a physical exam for a job or graduate school, updating birth control or other prescriptions before you leave campus, updating your immunizations, preparing for foreign travel, getting a copy of your last Pap smear results for your next health provider, or even having your first gynecological exam.

The senior health review is available March 24-May 2. Call x2121 to schedule an appointment.
