Blue Cross/Blue Shield Representative on Campus

Patricia Allen, MHC's Blue Cross/Blue Shield representative, will be available to answer questions, assist with filing claims, and follow up on any filed claims on May 30 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm in 215 Blanchard Campus Center.

Human resources will be able to coordinate scheduled appointments with Allen. Unscheduled visits, i.e., walk-ins, are welcome any time between 12:30 and 2:30 pm, though priority will be given to people with appointments. Call x2503 to schedule an appointment. Allen will accommodate those who need appointments after 2:30 pm until 3:30 pm.

For information on health-care coverage or the claims process with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield (CMM 80/20) or the College's two HMOs--Kaiser Permanente/Network Blue and Community Health Plan--contact human resources.

Summer Office Hours

Beginning Monday, June 2, and continuing through Friday, August 22, summer hours will be in effect for Mount Holyoke offices. The core office hours will be 8:30 am-4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and all offices must be fully staffed during these hours. Full-time employees will continue to work 7.5 hours a day; therefore, individuals may choose to start work at 7:30 am, 8 am or 8:30 am and work through 4 pm, 4:30 pm, or 5 pm depending on whether they choose a thirty- or sixty-minute lunch break. Flexible schedules that meet both employee preferences and department needs are encouraged. You may want to include these summer hours on communications that your office sends on- or off-campus.

Community Lunch Closing

The last Community Lunch at the Willits-Hallowell Center for the academic year will be served Friday, May 16. The lunches will resume in mid-September.

Alcohol and Drug Awareness Project Needs Your Help

Attention all students, faculty, and staff: the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Project needs people to chair the following meetings for Reunion I and II: Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, Friday, May 23, 9-10 pm; Twelve-Step Gratitude meeting, Saturday, May 24, 4:30-5:30 pm; Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, Friday, May 30, 9-10 pm; Twelve-Step Gratitude meeting, Saturday, May 31, 4:30- 5:30 pm.
