Fifteen Fun Things to Do Before Graduating
Before you pack up and take a long, last look at Mount Holyoke
this weekend, take time to think about the past four years and to
enjoy your last days on campus. Here are a few suggestions.
- Take a slow walk through the greenhouses on a sunny day and
keep inhaling.
- Stand in the middle of the Green at night and look up at the
stars.
- Count squirrels.
- Watch the ducks and turtles on the log on Lower Lake.
- One afternoon, play your music really loudly and invite all
your friends to come and dance.
- On a bright morning, spend a minute sitting in Abbey Chapel in
the cool quiet, reminiscing about convocations and vespers
performances.
- Have your own Mountain Day with friends. Everyone should climb
Mount Holyoke once in four years.
- Watch cartoons in the TV room while eating breakfast; it may
be the last time before entering the workforce for you do so this
leisurely.
- Buy $10 worth of candy in the bookstore just so you can charge
it.
- Thank someone who's made a difference in your life at the
College.
- Visit Archives to bask in the College's past; you're nearly
part of that past!
- See the Equestrian Center.
- Sit at a table outside of Blanchard and enjoy the view.
- Take last-minute photos of all your friends and favorite
campus spots.
- "Streak" the Green.

Kim Kedziorek, and Erin Otte for their ideas.
