Exhibition The Spirit of West African Textiles. The beauty and diversity of West African textiles are displayed in a colorful variety of more than fifty objects including costumes, blankets, fabrics, and textile masks. Organized and circulated by the Council of Creative Projects, the exhibition examines the creation and use of wearable art with emphasis on the design and technique employed by its makers. Book Reading by Amy Bloom and Chris Bohjalian. Bloom will read from her book Love Invents Us.
