Exhibition 1897: Mount Holyoke Rebuilds is a collection of photos, documents, and information about Brigham, Safford, Porter, Pearsons, the original Rockefeller, and Mary Lyon Halls, which were all dedicated in 1897. Exhibition The Shared Heart combines forty duotone photographs with first-person accounts of the coming-out experiences of lesbian, gay, and bisexual young people. On view through November 14. Blanchard Campus Center.

Exhibition How to Remember? Designing the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum examines the challenges faced by architect James Ingo Freed as he developed designs for a permanent memorial to eleven million Holocaust victims, of whom six million were Jews. Exhibition Vampires, Goblins and Pooh, Oh My! is an exhibit prepared by Mallanye Lackey '98 that features a selection of pop-up and fold-out children's books drawn from the Juvenile Collection of Special Collections. Exhibition Gotta-Have-It Ancient Inspiration: Artist Books by William Schade. Originally a printmaker, William Schade now makes artist's books and scrolls as well as paintings and sculpture, all in a witty, charming, and whimsical fashion. The themes frequently involve animals, whether real or imagined, and are inspired by fictive ancient texts that exist only in the mind of the artist. On view through January 28.
