Sasha Klare-Ayvazian (left) and Masseo Davis lead a packed congregation in singing Woke Up This Morning with My Mind Stayed on Freedom, a song from the civil rights movement, at the January 18 campus gathering to celebrate the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Klare-Ayvazian is the son of Protestant chaplain Andrea Ayvazian. Davis and Klare-Ayvazian are classmates at the Bridge Street School in Northampton and frequently are part of the MHC worship services. |
