Nickelodeon air date (tentatively) announced

As previously reported in the CSJ, a crew from "NICK News," a Sunday evening television news program on Nickelodeon, briefly visited campus on October 26 to tap Dean of the College Beverly Daniel Tatum's expertise on race and kids. The news crew sent to South Hadley caught a few sound bites from Tatum and then was on the road again, leaving as quickly as it had arrived. Although the correspondent who organized the campus shoot says that Nickelodeon has been known to move its shows around at the last minute, the piece, which will mostly feature junior high school students talking and participating in school-based programs that concern race, is scheduled to air Sunday, November 22, at 8:30 pm. If it doesn't air that Sunday, tune in the following Sunday. It's likely to be the first piece shown on the news, which targets junior high students.
