Helen and Robert Greer of White Plains, New York, have been named cochairs of Mount Holyoke's Parents Fund Committee. The Greers, who are the parents of Alexis '01, will lead the fundraising efforts of Mount Holyoke parents for the next two years. "We are thrilled to take on the role of cochairs," they say. "Our daughter is having a wonderful college experience, and we have warm feelings about Mount Holyoke. We know that Alexis is receiving an excellent education in a supportive environment."
The Parents Fund helps bridge the gap between the College's expenses and revenues realized by tuition, providing, along with the Alumnae Fund, a significant part of MHC's operating budget and playing a vital role in the College's success. The Office of Development is reactivating its parents program with a Parents Fund Committee composed of parent volunteers from each undergraduate class along with parents of alumnae. Volunteers will encourage participation in the Parents Fund by contacting fellow parents.
Parents and students who want to find out more about the Parents Fund Committee may contact Kimberly Kedziorek '98 in the Office of Development at 538-2766 or 800-642-4483.
