January Internships Need help finding a January Internship? Do you know of a great place to do one, but you're not sure how to approach the person or organization? Please feel free to use counseling appointments and the Career Development Center's daily drop-in times to get some answers. The CDC has many resources and lots of ways to help you secure an internship this year. The CDC staff is excited and enthusiastic about helping students. Go see them.
Not-for-Profit Panel On November 2 at 7 pm Emily Woolf Economou '84, director of admissions at the Robert J. Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy, New School University (NSU), and Suzanne B. Stein, program manager of the Nonprofit Management Program, New School University, will be at the Career Development Center for a lively discussion of the nonprofit world of work. Come join them! Topics will include an overview of careers in the nonprofit sector; an introduction to NSU's graduate program and admissions process; and strategies for pursuing and executing a job search in the nonprofit job market. Light refreshments will be served.
