Naughty by Nature to
Deliver Rap/Hip Hop at Mount Holyoke December 4
The Hip-Hop group Naughty by
Nature will headline a live performance in Mary Woolley's Chapin
Auditorium Saturday, December 4, at 8 pm. Doors will open at 7 pm. A
special guest performance, yet to be announced, will open the
concert.
A trio from New Jersey, Naughty by
Nature debuted in 1991 with a self-titled album that went platinum
and won a Grammy in 1992 with the hit "O.P.P." They also won in 1991
an American Music Award for best new rap group. "Hip Hop Hooray" was
the rappers' next big hit in 1993. In 1995, they released the album
Poverty's Paradise, and four years later the album nineteen naughty nine Nature's
Fury, which features
their most recent hit song "Jamboree."
The concert is presented by the
Network and the Office of Student Activities. Tickets went on sale
November 16 and will also be available at the door at 7 pm. For
