The College has made tremendous progress in the area of resource management over the past three years. Belt-tightening administrative measures put into effect during the first two years of the Plan, moving to need-aware admissions for a portion of the applicant pool, the creation of an enrollment management strategy, and excellent investment performance have improved the institution's financial picture dramatically and quickly. The comprehensive fundraising campaign called for in the Plan is well on its way to achieving its $200 million goal. It is strengthening the endowment (the campaign's top priority), funding critical building projects, and supporting new programs and initiatives. During the next three years of the Plan, it is expected that the College will strengthen its resources even further, enabling the institution to continue its strategic investments to strengthen the mission and priorities of the Plan for 2003.
