Good Will
Mission to the Gulf Coast Has Wheels!
Help to make
this holiday season one to remember.
Children and
families are still in need. Thousands are still living
in shelters and temporary housing—they have lost everything!
To
all who have already helped, thank you.
The use of
a large truck has just been donated for our use in bringing all
of these
donated goods to the people of the
Gulf
Coast whose
lives have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
But, only
20 percent of the truck has been filled. We have lots more
room and need all of your help.
What's needed:
For
the children: Clothing, books, toys, and stuffed animals
For
the home: Restock the kitchen—utensils, pots and pans,
toasters, coffee makers, dishes, and silverware.
The linen closet—blankets,
sheets, towels, etc.
For the Adults:
Clothes for interviewing or work in offices, schools, retail,
etc.
Where / When
/ How:
Bring all of
your donations in closed boxes with labels ready to be placed
into the truck will
be a great help.
The students
of
CAUSE have been doing a great job volunteering
with the staff from the Health Center in organizing,
sorting, and boxing,
but we are
running out of time. You can bring your boxes
to the Health Center. We will be loading the truck
on
Monday
November
21.
