For Those Who Came Before: Native Americans in the Connecticut River Valley, with Mitchell Mulholland, Director of Archeological Services, UMass/Amherst. Mr. Mulholland has studied the Range and environs for many years to reconstruct past cultures and land usage. He will lead us back in time to reveal what is known about the people who were here before the first European settlements. Sponsored by Mount Holyoke Colleges Center for Environmental Literacy. |

Heart and Soul: The Connecticut River Greenway State Park: Terry Blunt, Director, Connecticut Valley Action Program, will speak about the genesis, development, and function of the Greenway State Park. He will also explore its role in the revitalization of the river and in the larger watershed, and offer some final thoughts on the vitality of the Connecticut River Valley. Sponsored by Mount Holyoke Colleges Center for Environmental Literacy. |
