ANDREW HARVEY TO SPEAK AT MOUNT HOLYOKE COLLEGE,
OCT. 19 AT 7:30 PM IN HOOKER AUDITORIUM

SOUTH HADLEY, Massachusetts—Noted mystic, poet, writer, and translator Andrew Harvey will speak on "The Direct Path to God" on Thursday, October 19, at 7:30 PM in Hooker Auditorium at Mount Holyoke College. Sponsored by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, the event is free and open to the public. The talk will be largely based on Harveyıs latest book entitled The Direct Path and will discuss Divine Love and the Sacred Feminine. He is the bestselling coauthor of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dyingand has written and edited more than thirty books.

Harvey, the subject of a 1993 BBC documentary, is a world-renowned religious scholar and teacher. Among his many works are the critically acclaimed Journey in Ladakhand Son of Man.

Born in 1952 in South India, Andrew Harvey was educated at Oxford University and was the youngest person ever awarded a fellowship to All Souls College. He has traveled extensively during the past twenty-five years on a spiritual search, living in London, Paris, New York, and San Francisco and teaching at Oxford and Cornell. He currently resides in Nevada.
