The American
Cancer Society holds a "We Can Weekend" which
is a retreat for adults with cancer and their families. It focuses
on the problems and concerns encountered in living with cancer.
The Weekend promotes family togetherness in a relaxed setting.
Workshops and activities are offered for the entire family on
the topics such as family communication, intimacy, relaxation,
stress management, strategies for coping, diet and nutrition,
spirituality, and individual exercise programs.

ARIA International Summer Academy is now
in its 17th season, and will offer 10-day intensive "boot camp" sessions
for music students aged 16 to 28 between July 27 and August 5, 2008.

The Center
for Talented Youth is a summer residential program for young, highly
able students. Motivated participants enroll in challenging humanities,
math, and science courses, taught well above grade level, by dedicated
instructors in a safe and supportive environment. The Center for
Talented Youth experience gives students a better picture of their
own academic ability and potential, helps them to develop better
work habits, and refines their educational goals.

The Girls
Leadership Institute provides an opportunity for girls between
the ages of 12 and 18 to master their confidence and leadership
skills. The mission of the Girls Leadership Institute is to ‘fight
the crisis of confidence and dissociation that often occurs in
adolescent girls.’ Their workshops thus teach girls the necessary
skills to increase emotional intelligence during conflict, admit
limitations and accept criticism, and connect the concept of leadership
to everyday aspects of girls’ lives. As well as workshops,
many extracurricular camp-like activities are planned to ensure
an overall educational and fun experience.

The Nike
Tennis Camp at Mt. Holyoke College is designed to train ranked
juniors, ages 11-18, through an intensive tennis program. It is
for those tournament level players who have earned their ranking,
and for advanced players who are seeking a USTA ranking. Each camper
will be evaluated on court and placed in an instructional group
deemed appropriate by the director and staff. Mt. Holyoke College
offers outstanding tennis facilities, including 12 outdoor and
six indoor courts. Campers stay in campus dorms and enjoy their
meals in the dorm dining room.

The program is a master class set up for people in graduate school or for those
just out of graduate school to give them training in the techniques of guitar
playing. The course is a performance class that brings together people from all
over the nation. The program includes four hours of training a night for two

Math program provides an opportunity for young women in high
school to actively explore mathematics, build confidence,
discover computers, develop problem-solving strategies, and have

Since 1970, the United States Sports Camps has run one of the
premiere swim camps in the country. Our philosophy is to educate
competitive swimmers on the proper techniques of each stroke

The camp is open to any competitive swimmers from 9 years old
