Gifts of Personal Property
Contact Us
Gifts of valuable personal property, such as rare books, antiques, equipment, works of art, etc., can be given directly to the college. They can be used for educational purposes, or used to fund a lifetime gift or make an outright gift. If a gift of personal property qualifies under the "related use" rules, it can reduce your state tax liability and provide an income tax deduction equal to the full appraised value.
For more information, please contact the Office of Gift Planning, at 800-MHC-GIVE.
