Nutritional Information
If you are viewing our menus on our website, you have the option to view the nutritional information from our Nutritive Analysis Module for any item listed. This is accessible by going to our weekly menus, clicking on the nutrition tip of the day icon and choosing the menu item(s) for which you want the nutritional information. Visit our Nutrition Information page for more detailed information.
Dietary Restrictions / Allergies
Students with medically related dietary restrictions that require alternative food preparation or menu items need to contact the Dining Services Office at x 2100 to make an appointment to discuss their special dietary requirements. In most cases, Dining Services is able to reasonably accommodate the student’s needs. Visit our Nutrition Information page for more detailed and specific information about the kinds of dietary restrictions that we are able to accommodate.
Gracious Meal Program
Dining Services offers the more traditional Gracious Meals or “theme meals” throughout the year which are decorative, special, and fun. The Gracious Meal Calendar is advertised on our website with the specific menus for the various theme meals.
M & C’s
All resident board students also enjoy a long-standing College tradition known as “M&C’s” (milk and crackers). This is a light snack provided in almost all residence halls as a study break and a social event for a half hour between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday evenings.
Box Lunches
Box lunches are available in any open residential dining hall (not available in continental dining centers) as a dining alternative for any student who will not be on campus for lunch or dinner. Students need to complete a “box lunch request form” indicating their preferences by 4:00 PM the day before the box lunch is needed. These forms are available from any of our Dining Services staff.
Afternoon Teas
In the residential dining centers, afternoon teas can be arranged by contacting the dining hall Unit or Chef Manager, and, in the continental breakfast centers, by contacting Blanchard Café at x 2298. Teas are available Monday—Thursday between 3:00 PM—5:00 PM. Dining Services will provide the tea cookies, tea service, teabags and appropriate condiments, cups and napkins. Students are responsible for set up and clean up of the tea.
Special Occasion Cakes or Cookies
Dining Services operates an in-house bakery that supplies all areas of our operation. We work in conjunction with the Sophomore Class to provide their special occasion cakes or cookies for any student on campus. If you or a parent wish to receive ordering information or place an order for a special occasion cake or cookie, you may contact our office at x 2100.
