Hours of Operation:
11:00 AM – 12:00 AM Daily

Blanchard Café, located on the ground floor of our recently renovated Blanchard Campus Center, is another dining option for students on the board plan and is open to any of our staff, faculty or non-board students.  The Café features our signature freshly baked brick oven pizzas and calzones, Culinary Classics sauté and Salad Sensations stations, a nice variety of freshly made sandwiches, salads, soups, charbroiled and grilled items, desserts, appetizers, grab n’ go options, Edy’s soft serve ice cream and yogurt, and popular sodas, convenience items, and beverages.  Each station features a daily special and healthy and low carbohydrate alternatives.

Any full board student can dine in Blanchard Café for lunch or dinner.  Students can now enjoy more expanded meal hours if they cannot make the meal times in our other dining locations.  Full board students can also use their Dining Dollar$ or cash to purchase any items in the Café.  All students have the option to open a MHCXpress Account (debit account) or use cash for payment of purchases in the Café. 

The meal hours for lunch and dinner for the board plan are:

Lunch:    11:00 AM –   4:00 PM
Dinner:     4:00 PM – 12:00 midnight

A meal on the board plan in the Café has a cash value of up to $7.00 in board dollars for lunch and dinner.  Students get to choose which menu items they wish to purchase for up to $7.00.  Since this is counted as a meal, all items that you wish to include in that meal, need to be purchased at that time.  If your items total more than the designated amount, the difference will be deducted from your Dining Dollar$ Account, and then when that is depleted, your MHCXpress Account.  You can also pay cash.  

Uncommon Grounds – Coffee Bar

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Uncommon Grounds is our coffee bar located on the main floor of Blanchard Campus Center.  It offers a variety of coffees and coffee drinks—cappuccino, espresso, latte, mochas, as well as smoothies and freshly baked bagels, pastries and desserts (including Chef Jeff’s cookies!).   In keeping with our ongoing commitment to use local products, we feature milkshakes, malts, and other frozen ice cream drinks made with “Bart’s Homemade” Snow’s Ice Cream, produced locally in Greenfield, Massachusetts.  Convenient pint size containers of Bart’s Homemade ice cream can also be purchased in several flavors. 

While Uncommon Grounds is not on the board plan, full board students can use their Dining Dollar$ or cash to purchase any items in Uncommon Grounds.  All students have the option to open a MHCXpress Account (debit account) to use for any purchases as well.

Monday – Friday 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

The Uncommon Express is a new self-service luncheon venue offered at Uncommon Grounds created for faculty and staff to be able to grab a “quick” bite to avoid the lines in the Café during our noon rush.  The menu features a daily soup, variety of sandwiches, entrée salads, snacks, fresh fruit, dessert, and beverages as well as a sandwich and entrée salad special everyday.   If you are inclined to stay and dine in Blanchard, feel free to dine in the Green Room, the private dining room in the rear of the Great Room, which is reserved for faculty and staff, Monday thru Friday during these hours.   We will accept cash or any MHCXpress Account as a method of payment.

The Atrium Café at Kendade

Monday – Friday 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

The Atrium Café is conveniently located on the ground floor in the lovely atrium in Kendade Hall.   The Atrium Café features a standard menu of various grinders, entrée salads, snacks, fresh fruit, dessert, and beverages as well as offering a sandwich and entrée salad special everyday.  Since the Atrium Café is a very popular dining option for lunch for full board students, we have created a separate line for faculty and staff so that you can expedite your wait.   The café accepts cash or any MHCXpress Account as a method of payment.
