Days of Dialogue

Dear Colleagues,

What an amazing Day of Dialogue we had at Mount Holyoke a few weeks ago! More than 70 staff and faculty came together in six different dialogues to get to know one another better and to discuss how issues of class/rank, race and gender impact our work on this campus. The response to the dialogues was overwhelmingly positive and the feedback we heard most clearly was, “We needed more time and we want more dialogue opportunities.”

We're listening in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and intend to offer you more opportunities before the end of this semester and in 2010.

• Class Dialogue: Dec. 10 from 9:00-11:00 am in Blanchard 108 with Maya D'Costa and Raymond LaBarre facilitating.
