Assistant Professor 
The Mount Holyoke College Physics Department invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, to begin Fall 2010.   We seek an experimental physicist with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and to the development of a vigorous, on-campus, externally-funded laboratory research program involving undergraduates.  The position is open with regards to specialty, but candidates with interdisciplinary connections to biology or materials science are especially encouraged to apply.  Excellent facilities and technical support for research are available on campus, as well as access to a state of the art clean room at the nearby University of Massachusetts..
