Tanya Williams joined MHC this fall as the new coordinator of multicultural affairs, although she's no stranger to campus. Since last year, Williams has been a training facilitator with the Intergroup Dialogue Project run by the Office of the Dean of Students.

In addition to continuing to work with that program, Williams will oversee the College's cultural houses and cultural heritage months, provide education for the campus on ALANA issues, mentor ALANA students, and collaborate and work with all students.

Williams has worked in student affairs for five years. She has a master's in higher education administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, and is currently finishing her doctor of education in social justice education at the University of Massachusetts.
