Cultural Heritage and Awareness Events
Cultural Heritage Months and Awareness Weeks are Mt. Holyoke’s community to acknowledge, celebrate, and explore domestic and international racial, ethnic, and religious identities. Programming can range from lecturers, art exhibits, dialogues and more.
The cultural heritage month planning committee is made up of students who work in collaboration with linked student organizations and interested faculty and staff. The planning committee coordinates development of each of the heritage month calendars, develops additional educational and celebratory events for campus, and works with cultural organizations to produce a unified experience of cultural celebrations for campus. If you are interested in being a part of the cultural heritage month planning committee, please complete the application available online.

In addition to the campus-wide committees that work on the month long programs, several registered student organizations also host cultural awareness weeks at MHC. Some are listed here.
