Passages Pre-Orientation

Passages is a pre-orientation program for incoming African American, Latina, Asian American, Native American (ALANA) students and multi-racial students, making the passage into life at Mount Holyoke.

The College appreciates the complexities of identity in today's society and celebrates the tremendous diversity both within the ALANA population and in the community at large. As you begin your academic career, Passages can help you find yourself at Mount Holyoke.

Passages brings you together with people who can be your network and support system as you make this exciting transition. Workshops, panels, and other activities can help you learn about each other's differences while discovering ways you share common ground. Most importantly, we hope you'll learn to see that you - both individually and together - are your greatest resource.

You can also check out the Passages Pre-Orientation Schedule. Please be sure to register for Passages, even if you are not planning on attending.

If you have any questions about Passages, please do not hesitate to call the Dean Of Students Office at 413-538-2550.
