10:00am-11:30am Foreign Fellow Teaching workshop (FF and French Teaching Associate)
Donna Van Handle, Dean of International Students & Senior Lecturer in German Studies, will offer a general introduction to your teaching duties and other responsibilities in the language departments with which you are affiliated. Practical tips and a web site featuring teaching resources will also be featured.

Moderated by Leah B. Glasser, Dean of First-Year Studies, this session focuses on building connections with your adviser, your professors, and academic resources as you explore the curriculum in your first year. Learn about the web of advising connections and how best to make use of them.  .

A mandatory meeting required of all first-year student workers. Student workers will be given a general introduction to Dining Services and information regarding the kinds of work that they can expect to do for Dining Services.

This session focuses on the resources and leadership opportunities available through the Weissman Center for Leadership and the Liberal Arts. Learn how the Weissman Center, and its Speaking, Arguing, and Writing Program and Community-Based Learning Program, can help you launch your leadership potential at MHC

4:15 - 5:15 pm Settling Your Academic Schedule: ISIS Navigation and Registration
Having problems using ISIS?  Confused about what credits have transferred and what distribution requirements you may have satisfied? Concerned about adding and dropping courses or waitlisting?  This session will include a demonstration of how to make good use of the Internet Student Information System (ISIS) to add or drop courses, explore course offerings, confirm credit transfer, respond to waitlisting, or review your progress in meeting college requirements.

7:00pm–10:00pm Small Group Event: Intersections: Identity and Community (A)
A program of music, theatre, and film designed to inspire insights and questions about identity and multiculturalism. Following the performance, small groups will explore candidly the rewards and challenges of membership in Mount Holyoke’s multicultural community.
