Flood
Procedure
-
For
any on-campus emergency, dial x1-911. From a cell phone dial
(413) 538-2304.
- If you encounter
high water, do the following:
- 1. Move
to higher ground.

- 2. Do
not get under tall trees during rainstorms, lightning may
strike.

- 3. Avoid
fast flowing water, even in your vehicle.

- 4. Do
not walk in flooded areas (water depth is not always obvious).

- 5. Avoid
contact with, and DO NOT USE electrical devices.
-
- 6. Be
especially careful with high water at night, as darkness may
hide other hazards.
