Daily Logs June 2007

Below is a listing of all incidents and accidents reported to the Mount Holyoke College Department of Public Safety. Each listing includes the date and time of the report, a description of the incident or accident which includes the location of the event, and a case number and case status. These are provided for the education of the community, as well as to satisfy the requirements of the Federal Right to Know law. Please feel free to call Public Safety at x2304 (or (413) 538-2304) if you have any questions about incidents occurring on campus.
 
 
NOTE: This log reflects only incidents reported to Public Safety that occurred on the Mount Holyoke College campus. Incidents involving our students off campus are reflected in the logs of the investigating department.

June 24 and June 30:

On June 29 at 6:25pm officers responded to Dickinson Hall to assist a student who was injured. She sought further medical treatment on her own (Incident #07-196-OF).

On June 26 at 10:25am an employee reported that a hand cart left outside the building to transport a broken computer was stolen while she was inside getting the computer (Incident #07-195-OF). Case Open.

On June 26 at 10:08am an employee reported that someone stole a faucet key off of an outside faucet at Pratt Hall and used it to open several outside faucets on campus (Incident #07-194-OF). Case Open.

On June 25 at 3:03pm officers were alerted that there had been a fire in a sani-can at the residence hall construction site. The fire had been extinguished (Incident #07-193-OF).

On June 24 at 10:10am officers received a report of an alleged threat made by a member of the community toward another person. Complaining party was given options available to her (Incident #07-192-OF). Case Open.

June 17 and June 23:

On June 19 at 10:02am an employee reported that while her car was parked in the Mead Lot during the day, someone spilled a sticky substance on her car (Incident #07-191-OF). Case Open.

Incident #07-190-OF: Case Not Assigned.

June 10 and June 16:

Case Update: Incident #07-189-OF: Officers on patrol located the bicycle reported stolen from Dickinson Hall outside Pearsons Hall. Case Closed.

On June 12 at 6:24pm a student reported that her bicycle was stolen from the basement of Dickinson Hall. The bicycle may not have been locked when it was last seen (Incident #07-189-OF). Case Closed.

On June 11 at 1:30pm officers responded to the Equestrian Center to assist a woman who had fallen from a horse. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance (Incident #07-188-OF).

June 3 and June 9:

On June 8 at 5:23pm a vehicle backing from a parking space near the Betty Shabazz House struck a utility pole causing damage to the vehicle (Incident #07-15-AC).

On June 3 at 12:21pm a visitor reported her vehicle was damaged while it was parked in the Morgan Street grass lot (Incident #07-14-AC).
