Recycling Inkjet and Laser Toner Cartridges

To recycle LaserJet, Fax and Printer toner cartridges, place the empty cartridge back into the original package, or a brown clasp envelope, mark the package "recycle", and mail it via campus mail to the Facilities Management Stockroom.

Inkjet cartridge recycling prepaid mailers are found at the Blanchard Mail Center and are also available from Environmental Health & Safety. Just place the empty cartridge into the special mailer and drop it into U.S. Mail.  Please note - the Canon BCI model and Epson inkjets can not be recycled. Please dispose of these models in the regular trash receptacle.

Copier toner can not be recycled. It should be put in a plastic bag and put in office trash.
