Meeting Minutes

I. Integrated Pest Management Plan

Nancy presented a revised IPM that includes additional language requiring approval for all interior applications.

The next step is an education campaign. In particular, we need to identify what operations at Facilities Management will be impacted by the Plan and provide recommendations for alternatives.

Ellen and Tom agreed to discuss with FM, Nancy agreed to discuss with Dining Services and Minuteman. The EAC reps will bring back to EAC.


II. Tree Preservation Guidelines

A strategy is needed to protect campus trees. Ellen and the CE have put together a brochure for the upcoming tree celebration. We need to develop best management practices.

Ellen agreed to draft a document for the next WG meeting and to bring as a draft to the EMS Steering Committee at the December meeting.
