Tree Update

Ellen is still looking for money to fund the Mead tree project.

Benchmarking

We need to develop a benchmarking strategy for campus tree health.

Nancy shared thoughts on possible benchmarking strategies:

• Campus land use:  Pie chart showing per cent of open land, buildings, hard surfaces (roads, walkways, parking lots).
• Storm water management:  Keep track of main campus land area that goes through retention structures. 

Future Topics

Suggestions for future meeting discussions are: zero green waste, and turf and mowing reduction.  Any other suggestions should be sent to Ellen.
