Parent and Teacher CommunicationAt Gorse Child Study Center, we firmly believe that we can work most effectively with children when there is regular and open communication between families and teachers. Parents are encouraged to visit the school and to observe their child's program. Many of our parents enjoy watching their children from our observation booths.Early in the school year we have a parent meeting for each group. Individual parent-teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year, in mid-October and mid-February. Teachers are always willing to meet with parents at their request. We value the daily informal communication at arrival and pick-up time and encourage parents to call and share their questions, concerns and suggestions as they arise. |
