Health Center Fees

Pre Paid Health Center Option

Mount Holyoke College offers a plan for Prepaid Health Center use. This plan will cover laboratory testing, x-ray studies, admission to the infirmary, nutritional counseling, and physical therapy services provided at the health center. This plan is a very helpful compliment for a managed care health plan at a cost of $220.00 for the entire academic year. The Health Center is not a participating provider in any managed care networks and does not submit billing directly to third party insurance companies. We will provide the student with an itemized bill that can be used to submit to the insurance company for possible reimbursement. We cannot guarantee that your insurance carrier will cover these charges.

When the student has waived both the Student Health Insurance Plan and the Prepaid Health Center options , a detailed billing statement is sent to their campus address and a "Health Center charge" is placed on their bill. Charges/bills are not sent to parents.   The bill is the student's responsibility and, as such, will be mailed to her at her campus address when classes are in session and to her permanent address between semesters and when she is on leave.
