Breast Cancer

Each year, 182,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 die. One woman in eight either has or will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Examining your breasts is an important way to find a breast cancer early, when it's most likely to be cured. The more you examine your breasts, the more you will learn about them and the easier it will become for you to tell if something unusual has occurred. If you do find a lump or abnormality, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have breast cancer, but you should see your doctor if you are concerned.
