Eligibilty
Faculty
Faculty members are eligible to participate in these benefits if they
have at least a half-time appointment.
Staff
Staff members are eligible to participate if they are regularly
scheduled to work at least 17 ½ hours per week for either
the academic or fiscal year. Staff members in Dining Services and
Facilities Management are eligible if they are regularly scheduled
to work at least 20 hours per week.
Temporary employees
Temporary employees are not eligible to participate in any of these
insurance plans.
Eligible employees are covered the first of the month coinciding
with or immediately following their date of employment.
