Annual Open Enrollment
May 1st to May 31st

Employees may drop or change coverage for health, dental, life and long-term disability benefits during the annual open enrollment. Employees who do not initiate a change during open enrollment for optional health, dental, life or long-term disability insurance will automatically continue their coverage as is into the next plan year.

The following changes are permitted during open enrollment.

Health Insurance

Employees may choose a different health insurance option
Employees may change the type of coverage, i.e. individual or family
Eligible employees may initiate coverage

Dental Insurance

Employees may enroll, unenroll, or change the type of coverage (i.e. individual or family)

Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts will be accessible via the myFlexResource debit card.

Term Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD)

Eligible employees may initiate coverage changes either to increase or decrease coverage.

LTD insurance may be increased one coverage level (i.e. from 40% to 50%, or from 50% to 60% or from 60% to 66 2/3%) income replacement without the completion of a medical history statement form.

If employees elect to increase their coverage greater than one level per year, evidence of insurability will be required.
