By Car
From the south: Travel north on Interstate 91, to Route 202
(Exit 16, Holyoke/ South Hadley). Head north on 202 through Holyoke;
across the Connecticut River, and around the rotary, take 2nd exit
- stay on Route 202. Take 2nd exit marked South Hadley Center-Amherst,
Route 116 north. The College is approximately 2.5 miles from the
exit. As you come up the hill toward the college at the corner of
Morgan Street is the first lawn sign for MHC and the beginning of
campus. Take your next right onto Chapin Road into campus. Take
your first left then left again as you face the green. Skinner will
be the first building on your left with visitor parking out front.

From the north: Travel south on Interstate
91, take Exit 16, and follow the directions above.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike, east or west:
Take Exit 5 (Holyoke/Chicopee) and bear to the right. At the end
of the ramp, turn left on Route 33 for five miles to Route 116.
Route 33 is full of lights. As you cross from Chicopee into South
Hadley there will be a Big Y shopping center on your right. The
next light is the intersection of route 202, go straight. The next
light is Route 116, Turn right onto 116 and drive approximately
1.5 miles north to the College. Pick up the building directions
in the "from the south" section.
By Train
The Amtrak station nearest to South Hadley is in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Call Amtrak at 800-872-7245 for ticket prices
and schedules. You can reach South Hadley by, Peter
Pan Bus Lines, van/car service
(see below) or taxi, from there.
By Plane
Bradley International Airport, serving
Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts, is 34 miles
(45 minutes by car) south of South Hadley on Interstate 91.
Van/car service from Bradley Int. Airport is the easiest
and most direct way to reach the College, but you must call in advance
for reservations. Valley Transporter (800-872-8752
or 413-733-9700 in Massachusetts) picks up Terminals A and
B. The other car/van service offering direct transport to the College
is College Limousine Service (413-539-9339).
By Bus
Peter Pan Bus Lines
offers service from Boston and New York City to South Hadley, with
transfers in Springfield. For schedules and rate information,
call 800-237-8747.
