Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is the core postsecondary education data collection program established by the National Center for Education Statistics. It is a single, comprehensive system that encompasses all identified institutions whose primary purpose is to provide postsecondary education.
IPEDS consists of institution-level data from approximately 9,900 institutions on the following components of higher education:
- Institutional Characteristics
- Fall Enrollment
- Completions
- Graduation Rate
- Salaries, Tenure, and Fringe Benefits of Full-time Instructional Faculty
- Financial Statistics
- Fall Staff
Mount Holyoke College supplies institutional data annually to the IPEDS database.
