Five College Finding Aids Project
As of December
2003 there is a new and improved way of searching for manuscript
collections owned by Mount Holyoke College, Amherst College, Hampshire
College, Smith College and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
The Five College Archives & Manuscript Collections website was
developed by the Five College Finding Aids Access Project, funded
by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This website provides users
with access to over 1,000 finding aids which are arranged by institution
and are searchable by keyword, either within a specific institution
or across institutions. Eventually this website will replace Mount
Holyoke's own descriptions of manuscript collections and College
records.

College Archives & Manuscript Collections website at:

Among the collection
described at this site are papers of Charlotte and Mary Ely, members
of the class of 1861, who were missionaries to Armenians in Turkey.
