Our Role

The Ombudsperson is an objective and confidential party who exists to help all members of the Mount Holyoke College community solve problems that range from clarifying confusion about College policy to mediating sensitive interpersonal issues to handling instances of harassment, academic dishonesty, and discrimination.

Objectivity, neutrality, independence, and confidentiality are the Ombudsperson's guiding principles.

If you are in a difficult situation and would like a safe and confidential place to address your concerns, call the Ombudsperson.
