If you are wiring a payment to a student's account, you must include the student's name and purpose of payment on the wire or MHC's bank will reject the wire and return the funds to the originating bank. Wire instructions are as follows:
Bank of America 477 Newton Street South Hadley, MA 01075
U.S. Wires - ABA# 0260-0959-3 International Wires - SWIFT: BOFAUS3N CHIPS: Bank of America, NA-0959 Account: Mount Holyoke College Treasurer's Office Account# 0032 42 7012 (If sending payment via EFT or directly depositing funds at a BoA branch location, you must send the deposit receipt to SFS by fax, 413-538-2512, so that the student account can be properly credited)
- Please be certain that your name and purpose of payment is included in the transmittal.
- Be sure the transfer is in U.S. dollars.
- The amount that the bank charges to transfer funds will have to be added to the amount to be transferred. This is to cover fees that the clearing bank charges.
For example:
- Enrollment Deposit $300
- Bank charges $ 50
- Total Amount Transferred $350
- Check with your bank to get the actual fee. If they don’t know, estimate high. Any part of the estimate not used for bank charges will be credited to your account here at Mount Holyoke.
