Forms & Deadlines
For Nontraditional Students
The following forms are required to apply for financial aid:
1. Frances Perkins Financial Aid Application (2009-2010)
- Mount Holyoke uses the College Board's Institutional Document (IDOC) service to collect and image all financial aid application documents. This helps to eliminate errors and reduce processing time.
- Fall 2009 applicants will receive an email from IDOC in February with information about how to submit their documents and IDOC cover sheet directly to the College Board. The subject line of the College Board email will read "IDOC Notification - Your Next Step to Financial Aid".
- Spring 2009 applicants will receive this information in the fall.
- More information can be found under IDOC FAQ.
- Documents will not be accepted at Mount Holyoke.
2. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Mount Holyoke College School Code is 002192.
- The FAFSA is available online and is the preferred method of filing.
- Students are encouraged to file online to expedite processing and reduce errors.
- Please note: The FAFSA for academic year 2009-2010 cannot be filed until after January 1, 2009.
- You may use estimated information to complete the FAFSA form to meet the priority deadline.
3. Signed Student Federal Tax Returns and W-2 forms
- In the 2009-2010 application year, 2008 tax returns must be submitted to IDOC.
- Please do not send state tax returns.
- Make sure all federal tax returns are signed, and include all forms and schedules.
4. Business/Farm Supplement
- The Business/Farm Supplement (PDF) is required if the student (or spouse if applicable) owns a business or farm and should be submitted with the IDOC packet.
Student Financial Services will not accept the above documents directly. Please do not mail or fax required documents to the school because they will be shredded. It is mandatory that you mail the above forms (except the FAFSA) to IDOC.
**FP students are not required to file the CSS / Financial Aid PROFILE**
