What internet browsers can I use to view information on Financial Aid Online?
- On PC computers, Internet Explorer (IE) and Firefox work best.
- On MAC computers, Safari and Firefox work best.
Can I change my password on Financial Aid Online?
Unfortunately, you cannot change your assigned password for Financial Aid Online at this time. We hope to provide an option to do that in the future.
What if I forget my assigned password for Financial Aid Online?
If you forget your password, you can select the ‘Receive Password by email’ option at the bottom of the Log In box on the home page of Financial Aid Online. Your password will be emailed only to your MHC email account.
Why am I asked for my Student ID and PIN when I error in logging in?
When logging in to Financial Aid Online, the term Student ID is synonymous with the term User Name and PIN is synonymous with Password. You should use your MHC User Name assigned by the College and the Password sent to you by Student Financial Services.
How can I make sure that my Financial Aid Online is secure?
You should always protect your password. Close all browsers before leaving public computers. Make sure the User Name value isn’t saved by going to: For Internet Explorer, go to Tools / Internet Options / Content / Autocomplete... and uncheck the ‘User names and passwords on forms’ checkbox and click OK. For Firefox, go to Tools / Options / Privacy / Saved Forms and uncheck the ‘Saved information...’ checkbox and click OK.
Can I view my account balance from Financial Aid Online?
You are able to link to your ISIS Account Activity (not a bill) from the Financial Aid Online home or login screens. The Financial Aid Online is separate from the ISIS database and you will be required to login to ISIS to view Account Activity.
Where can I get copies of documents that are being requested?
You can download many requested documents from the Forms tab of Financial Aid Online.
Where can I view an explanation of the components of my financial aid award?
The Home page after you login has a link to Your Financial Aid Package with detailed information regarding components of your financial aid award and other policies and procedures.
When will I be able to view my award for the next academic year from Your Awards?
Enrolled students will be able to view their upcoming award year information in the summer after new awards are generated.
Why can I not see the total of my awards under Your Awards?
Currently the totals for the academic years cannot be displayed. Totals are provided to you for the budget and your family contribution.
Why aren’t all my loans visible on Your Loans and Your Loan History pages?
Only Federal Direct Student Loans (FDSL) and Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) are listed on Your Loans page. Federal Perkins Loans are listed on Your Loan History page and not in the Your Loans.
How will communications from SFS change with Financial Aid Online?
Student Financial Services will only send the initial award letter for the academic year in letter form. All revision notifications will be sent via your email with the Financial Aid Online URL. Missing information notifications will be sent infrequently via email. You should plan to visit Financial Aid Online to make sure your documents have been received and every time you receive a revision notice from Student Financial Services. Be sure your spam filters are set to allow email from SFS.
Why can I no longer view tabs that I have previously been able to view?
The tabs across the top of student view of Financial Aid Online appear if they apply to you. You will not see the Awards tab unless you have been awarded financial aid. You will not see Your Loans unless you have been awarded a loan in the current academic year.
Why do I see an Apply Online tab at the login page and not after I log in?
The Apply Online tab will be available for Frances Perkins students to complete their Financial Aid Application beginning with spring 2007 applications.
