Blanchard Campus Center
Blanchard is a wonderful meld of modern appointments
and the warm heritage of Mount Holyoke College. Renovated and expanded in 2003, Blanchard Campus Center is a meeting
place for the entire Mount Holyoke community.
The
light filled central atrium with it's 60-foot skylight, is
home to the Campus Store, Information Desk,
student mail boxes, and
Student
Art
Gallery, public Lounge, Uncommon Grounds Coffee Bar, Vendor Corner, and information tables on the main level.

The upper level harbors the Commuter Students' Lounge, the Student Programs Office and the Health
Educator's
Office, as
well as several
student organizations, including C.A.U.S.E,
the EMT's, the Student Government
Association,
Intergroup Dialogue, the Women's Center, WMHC-FM Radio, Mount Holyoke News,
Llamarada (yearbook), a Student Org. Resource room and an All Class
Boards Office.
Guests
to the Campus Center can snag a snack or dine at the
Blanchard Café and Uncommon Grounds, and choose from a variety of seating
environments, from cozy nooks to Big Screen TV seating.
A variety of meeting
rooms (non-mediated)
are available
by reservation, but many also come to the Blanchard Campus
Center for informal meetings over coffee.
To host other kinds of programming consult with the Office of Student Programs, x2478.
The multi-purpose
Great Room is part ofthe newest wing of the Campus Center and has
a two floor glass wall that looks out onto patio seating, the lantern
green, and Lower Lake.
In
winter, when the weather cooperates, folks from Facilities Management
keep an ice rink ready for the community . The warming Lantern at
the ice rink is also reservable for special gatherings year round.
