FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2
Opening Reception
With Zowie Banteah ’96
5–6 PM, Zowie Banteah Cultural House

Open House Community Reception at the Zowie Banteah House celebrating the 10yr naming anniversary.

The house was opened in the fall of 1995 and was originally known as Native Spirit. In the spring of 1997, the house was renamed the Zowie Banteah Cultural House to honor MHC alumna, Zowie Banteah'96, who was instrumental in founding the house.

In honor of the Zowie Banteah, the Native American Heritage Month Committee would like to invite you to a community reception meet and greet with Ms. Zowie Banteah '96 on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 5-6 pm.

The Zowie Banteah Cultural House, at 4 Dunlap Place, is located on the top floor of the Eliana Ortega House. The center provides cultural space for students who identify as Native American or have Native American ancestry. During the academic year, students host various programs, both academic and social, in the center. Come join us for Zowie’s return, celebration, and welcoming students to Native American Heritage Month!
