MASTER CLASS
"The Changing Face of American
Presidential Elections"
The presidential race is already in full swing in
what is almost certain to be the most expensive election in American
history. Candidates are striving to meet fundraising deadlines, states
are clamoring to move up their primaries, and YouTube is broadcasting
homegrown campaign commercials. Meanwhile, the struggle between the two
major political parties continues, as the Republicans hold the Executive
Office and the Democrats control the Congress. What does all of this mean
for the candidates and the voters? Faculty panelists will discuss the
impact of these and other current events on the 2008 presidential election.
