Friday Night Live (FNL) Proposal Form

Friday Night Live is an entertainment series at Mount Holyoke College coordinated by the Office of Student Programs. All student organizations are welcome to propose an idea for co-sponsoring an event and apply for FNLfunding. If you are interested in co-sponsoring a Friday evening program on campus, simply complete this proposal form and return it to Kris Bergbom, Assistant Director of Operations in 327 Blanchard. Proposals are reviewed on a rolling submissions basis. Programs will be selected, providing they meet the guidelines of the series, that help create a diverse array of programming options over the course of the academic year.

Guidelines:

  • FNL is an entertainment series held on Friday nights (predominately from 8-10:30pm in the Blanchard Campus Center Great Room, occasionally in Chapin, or other venues/times).

  • Programs are generally more " entertainment" oriented than "academically" focused.

  • Admission must be free of charge and open to the 5 College Community. FNL is not designed to be a fundraising event (although you may consider vending at the event).

  • Co-sponsors accept responsibility in organizing and implementing the proposed events with assistance from Student Programs. Typically, Student Programs contributes some funding to enhance sponsor resources. Student Programs also offers publicity assistance and program design support. The co-sponsoring organization supplies most of the woman power to create & staff the event, as well as a "street team" to publicize the date.

  • Student Programs can assist in finding other interested organizations or individuals to collaborate on an idea with you so that you have more human and financial resources available.

  • Your programming "team" should be 3 or more motivated women.

  • Student Organizations may also apply to perform for an FNL event.
