The Advocacy Project of Mount Holyoke College affects social change by disseminating information, legal and political advocacy for human rights and fundraising for marginalized communities in conflict ravaged regions and post-conflict survivors.
American Civil Liberties Union of Mount Holyoke College(ACLU)

AI's mission is to undertake research and action to end grave human rights abuses. A few of the many topics include: violence against women, prisoners of conscience, torture, human rights concerns with the war on terrorism, and the death penalty. The MHC Chapter advocates these rights through letter writting campaigns, lobbying, petitions, fundraising, awareness workshops, and traveling to attend other human rights events.
College Democrats
The Mount Holyoke College Democrats seek to involve the students of Mount Holyoke College in the local, national, and state-wide campaign efforts of the Democratic Party. As an offical chapter of the College Democrats of America (CDA), the MHC Democrats coordinate with the CDA each year on national campaign invasions, conventions, and mass demonstrations. MHC Democrats also remain active members of the College Democrats of Massachusetts and on a more local level, coordinate 5 College Democrats activities with Smith, Amherst, and Hamsphire Colleges, as well as the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
College Republicans
To inform and provide an outlet of political expression for students interested in the Republican platform. We wish to heighten students' awareness of political diversity on campus.
Democracy Matters
Democracy Matters aims to educate others and ourselves about the corrupting influence of private money in the American government. We present possible alternatives to reform and revitalize our political process.
Environmental Action Coalition (EAC)
The Environmental Action Coalition (EAC) aims to educate and engage the Mount Holyoke College community in ecological responsibility, which shall be both locally and globally focused. As members of this community, we challenge the college to adopt and commit to conservation and sustainability through its institutional practices. We shall encourage students to consider their individual impact on, responsibilities to, and relationship with both their immediate and larger environments. Through a process of collective learning, interactive campaigns, and community involvement both within and beyond the college's gates, EAC empowers the college community to be a leader in sustainable practices. EAC leads the MHC community in the pursuit of environmental justice. Formerly known as the Environmental Action Coalition (EAC).
Feminist Collective
The Feminist Collective is an organization striving to promote women's equality on local, national, and global levels through feminist activism. We embrace people of all ages, academic pursuits, nationalities, ethnicities, religions, gender expressions, sexual orientation, and socio-economic backgrounds. We aim to open a dialogue on feminist issues as well as create a safe space for women to be celebrated and empowered.
Food Justice Society
To actively promote and expand the Mount Holyoke Community's understanding and support of local, organic, sustainable, fair trade, and above all just food production systems.
Liberty in North Korea (LINK)
Link exists so that one day the crisis in North Korea will not. We educate the public about the humanitarian crisis inside and around North Korea. We advocate on behalf of North Korean people for human rights. We fundraise and support the national LINK organization to protect North Koreans (especially North Korean refugees) in need of assistance and to provide for resources they need.
MARC-Mount Holyoke Anti-Racism Coalition (formerly Debunking Whiteness; formerly White Women Against Racism)

In addition, the MHCMUN team will host an annual Five College Model UN Conference (FCMUN) on the MHC campus. The goal of FCMUN is to host a collegiate MUN conference with participants from all over the country, and to raise on campus awareness of international concerns and the many facets of diplomacy.
