CAUSE: Creating Awareness and Unity for Social Equality   Community Service Organizations
C.A.U.S.E. is a student-run organization that seeks to foster student leadership and build sustaining bridges between the college and the surrounding communities by providing students with community involvement opportunities. It encourages students to question the world beyond the gates of the college, and strives to inspire them to develop a sustained commitment to social, political, and economic justice. In addition, C.A.U.S.E. also works to enrich the education of Mount Holyoke students by providing active leadership opportunities that allow them to develop their leadership skills in a supportive environment.
Cheerleading, MHC   Club Sports
MHC Cheerleading aims to support the MHC Basketball team while bonding as a squad in our common goal to engage the spirit of the Mount Holyoke College Community. All levels of ability and experience are welcomed and encouraged to join. Above all we have fun and improve our cheerleading skills.
Chemistry Club   Academic Clubs
The Mount Holyoke Chemistry Club is a student-run organization dedicated to providing members with a broadened perspective on the role of chemistry in modern scientific research. With the sciences becoming more unified, the role of chemistry as an integral part of research and discovery is increasingly apparent. In bringing this to the attention of our members, the Chemistry Club hopes to foster community development between students of chemistry, and more generally, between all students of science. We aim to increase student awareness of developments in the field by promoting lectures and discussions in the five college area. Secondly, we aim to inform chemistry majors of job and research opportunities in a diverse array of fields.
Chinese Christian Fellowship, MHC   Religious Organizations
Chinese Christian Fellowship is a gathering of Chinese students that follow Christ or simply are interested in Christianity or the Bible. We have activities that are informative and educational, and we also form a support group and encourage each other by sharing and studying the Bible.
Chinese Cultural Association (CCA)   Cultural & Ethnic Organizations
The Chinese Cultural Association (CCA) is an inclusive organization, extending our membership to all, and seek to promote educational and cultural awareness within MHC and the surrounding communities.
Chorale   Entertainment and Performing Arts Organizations
Chorale is a fun, dynamic choral ensemble directed by Kimberly Dunn Adams and open to Mount Holyoke women from all four class years, grad students, and female faculty and staff. Chorale is also a registered student organization and a class that meets twice weekly for which students receive one credit per semester. We usually perform in four major concerts throughout the academic year including Vespers and the annual Family and Friends Weekend Concert. Chorale also collaborates with other chorale ensembles within the Five Colleges and beyond. We believe that in a world of political, economic and personal disintegrations music is not a luxury but a necessity because it is the persistent focus of human intelligence, aspiration, and goodwill. We believe that music is always a community enterprise and that choral art is especially important because it offers the most immediate and accessible avenue of active participation. If you are interested in belonging to a diverse, artistic community, don't miss singing with the MHC Chorale. You will sing great music, make new friends, and have a wonderful time!
Christian Fellowship, MHC (formerly InterVarsity Christian Fellowship)   Religious Organizations
MHC IVCF is founded upon the principle that care and concern for others offers the clearest testimony of faith. IVCF is dedicated to the goal of serving- physically and spiritually- both the people and the environment of MHC. Through praise, prayer, group discussion activities and lectures, peer mentoring initiatives, as well as service outreach, this student-run and -led organization seeks to encourage those in need; and as it does so, to raise up student-leaders, equipped to realize that true headship is expressed through an unselfish service to others.

Class of 2012   Governing Organizations
The class board of 2012 aims at continuing the traditions of Mount Holyoke that are applicable to the class of 2012 (sophomores). Through the organization of parties and events, we want to unite the class of 2012 and continue to ease their transition into college life, and provide support through their sophomore year. We want to make their second year at MHC more memorable.

All traditional day students are considered members of the organization and encouraged to join the group.
Composition Club, MHC   Entertainment and Performing Arts Organizations
The primary goal of this organization is to provide a support group for student composers of music. Currently, we feel there is a lack of campus awareness regarding student composition as a major form of musical expression. We hope to bring together writers of all genres, no matter their academic major, as well as performers who wish to help premier new student music. We feel that hearing her own music being performed is integral to a composer's growth in style, technique, and creative confidence. Our hope is that at the end of each semester, after preparing an assortment of student-selected compositions, this club and its contributors will be able to hold an all original student music concert!
Cycling Club and Racing Team, MHC   Club Sports
The Cycling club provides organized training for racers of all levels. During the spring season, the tem travels to other colleges to compete. The cycling club also supports and encourages the entire Mount Holyoke community to ride bicycles as a mode of transport and a way to stay healthy and fit.
