I, ________________________________, am a prospective student and am appalled to hear that workers are being abused on Mount Holyoke’s campus. I am concerned about attending a school with such a reputation. Although I remain interested in attending MHC, I look forward to receiving an email about how the Administration intends to respond to these charges. I stand in solidarity with concerned students and workers and am in support of the proposed Code of Conduct, which would do the following:

• Establish a standard minimum wage of at least $12.00/hour for all employees and out sourced workers.

• Require proper classification of outsourced and contracted employees so that they may be eligible for workers’ compensation, insurance coverage, and social security.

• Reaffirm Mount Holyoke’s commitment to neutrality in all working relationships.
