Kai Wu is a graduate student at UMass Amherst studying renewable energy systems and energy economics. Day, October 26, 2005 This webcast of a teleconference is a presentation about sustainability on college campuses across the country. Come learn how to make your college's ecological footprint smaller. Free and open to all in the Five College Area. Renowned NPR science correspondent Joe Palca, will be the host for this virtual event. He counts as "one," the other "five" in "six-pack" means that we'll be bringing you intelligent synopses in a fast-paced, two-hour presentation of the very latest initiatives and successes regarding sustainability in higher education from five important conferences; APPA, NACUBO, SCUP, Greening of the Campus VI, Defining the Vision for Higher Education. Webcast presented by the Society for College and University Planning for Campus Sustainability Day — at the other end of the calendar from Earth Day — devoted specifically to the achievements and challenges of sustainability in higher education institutions and their surrounding communities.
