Campus Climate Challenge is a SEAC campaign that EAC is taking onto our own campus.
Everyday, we seem to be hearing more and more about the dire condition of the earth and environment; often the list of problems seems so long and overwhelming that it is hard to know where to start in making a difference. There is hope, however: each day, more and more individuals and institutions commit to environmentally-friendly alternatives in their own daily practices.
The Campus Climate Challenge is one project helping to bring together these institutions. Colleges and high schools around the U.S. are joining the campaign, pledging to raise awareness and take initiative at their owns schools, with the end goal of putting a stop to global warming. As of this semester, Mount Holyoke College is officially a part of the CCC, along with over 500 other campuses!
Campus Climate Challenge initiatives range from educational demonstrations to interactive events to petitioning to the administration about policy change—keep your eyes open for events during the second half of the spring semester!
